Everything has it's category and it's easy to compare items with one equiped. Drops are abundant, which makes you look into your inventory fairly often (which i like despite other reviews). Items are various and useful in some build or order. I haven't tested MP, because i don't like to play that way. It's excellent on the go to kill few monsters. A lot of loot, nice system, enemies are abundant. Every hackslash person who likes diablo, fable, torchlight and other arpgs would love this. My general score is 7/10 because of the fps drop. I put 10 just to correct a little bit a score. It's excellent on I think that people downvoiting this game made a big mistake.

I think that people downvoiting this game made a big mistake. I give it 7/10 but if it was out of 100 it would score 75. Its all about dungeon crawling and loot with these games, and DH has plenty.I actually picked this game instead of Unchartered when choosing my bundle for release and I don't regret it as I am still enjoying it. Graphically the game is fine and looks nice on the new Vita screen, and the gameplay is standard hack'n'slash fare which works fine.
REDDIT VITA DUNGEON HUNTER ALLIANCE PC
Sure, it isn't exactly inspiring, but I've played worse attempts in this genre on the PC and other formats.
REDDIT VITA DUNGEON HUNTER ALLIANCE PS3
The game is NOT a direct port of the PS3 or the mobile version and has been improved and expanded somewhat for the Vita. Sure, it isn't exactly inspiring, but I've played worse attempts in this genre on the PC and other I'm normally a hard taskmaster when it comes to rating aRPG's, but I do feel that the magazine reviews so far for this game are a little unjust. The inclusion of many side quests and drop in, drop out multiplayer adds replay value and makes this a compelling purchase. Some may find the game repetitive, however the ability to save wherever and whenever allows you to enjoy the game in short bursts. There are slow downs when the screen is flooded with enemies however these happen rarely and only last a second.

The graphics aren't outright stunning, but they do a good job of showcasing the Vita's graphical prowess, that with the addition of a deep and compelling levelling up system and a surprisingly good story makes this game easy to recommend to those looking for a RPG for their Vita. While Dungeon Hunter: Alliance thrives on its huge battles, it's difficult to survive when your life disappears in jagged cuts and mashing your special skills doesn't translate to the stuttering fight onscreen. The critic reviews have been a little harsh on the game, simply put its a hack and slash game similar to Diablo. All of these enemy problems are dwarfed by the true enemy of combat: a terrible frame rate. Other times, when enemies retreat they'll suddenly disappear for unspecified reasons. This wouldn't be such a problem if the hit detection was better, but we're talking invisible threats. Thus, when a swarm of wolves chase you behind a tree, you're swinging blind, hoping to survive the encounter. While the player shows up as a blue outline behind 3D objects like arches and trees, enemies don't. The plentiful enemies regularly surround and attack the hero, but it's easy to lose track of them. Between loot and the reliance on potions, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance never lets you trounce enemies that regularly rubberband up to match your current strength. While loot is plentiful, it never makes you feel all-powerful. Each area's earmarked by a statue that sells them, and there's no way to battle through a given area without filling up regularly. Most gold goes to purchasing potions, the only way to survive in Dungeon Hunter. Compounded with the option to auto-transmute items into gold, inventory management is super easy and adding coins to your gold stash simple. When bashing in the skull of a skeleton or gargoyle or spider, the loot drops give purpose to the fight Filling up the inventory with varied tools gets a boost from the auto-equip function that automatically throws on more powerful items.
